Looking south on Palafox Street from Gregory Street in 1912. The downtown trolley tracks can be seen running their route down the middle of the street. You can see the Blount Building on the right at #3 West Garden Street, named after the Alexander C. Blount family. On the left is the Masonic Building at 5 1/2 East Garden Street. Both buildings still stand today.
